The Glengarry Highland Games are held each year at 34 Fair Street, Maxville, Ontario.

With the exception of service animals, please leave your pets at home.

Admission

  • General Admission is only $30 (includes HST) per day at the gate

  • There is an additional $10 (includes HST) admission fee to access The Tent on Friday night

  • Children 12 and under are admitted for free

  • Gate sales include cash, credit, or debit

  • Payment for camping is made on-site upon arrival

  • Parking is free

  • Please note that admission tickets and grandstand tickets are separate. Grandstand tickets can optionally be purchased in addition to admission.

Grandstand

Legacy Grandstand Tickets

Legacy grandstand ticket sales will start April 12, 2024 at 9:00 am and run until May 1, 2024. These seat holders will receive further information by email starting April 12. Any seats not claimed by May 1 will be included in the general public sales. Please note that we are not accepting requests for new legacy holds.

General Public Grandstand

Public grandstand sales start Friday, May 3, 2024 at 9:00am.

Games Weekend Sales

Any available grandstand tickets can be purchased on Friday and Saturday of Games weekend from the Grandstand booth at the north-west corner of the Metcalfe Centre patio beside the Patrons sales area. Sales will run from 10:00am on Friday and 8:30am on Saturday.

Planning a first visit to our Games?

Grandstand seating provides a covered view of the infield. Please see our schedule for a list of events taking place in this area. In additional to grandstand seats, the grass mounds surrounding the infield are available to anyone wishing to bring their own lawn chair, for free. See our Grounds Map for an overview of the location of the grandstands and the mounds.

Accessibility

The Glengarry Highland Games celebrates our heritage where everyone who comes is Scottish and enjoys a warm highland welcome!

Accessible Seating

  • Patrons who support at the Gold level have elevator access to the 2nd floor lounge

  • Bronze level patrons can enjoy fully accessible seating on the patio or indoors at the Metcalfe Centre

  • Attendees unable to climb the stands safely may sit on the stone patio along the front of the grandstands

  • Alternatively, special seating is allocated in front of the administration building on the left side

Accessible Washrooms

  • in the Highland Lounge (Gold Patrons)

  • in the Metcalfe Centre

  • in the building next to the Memorial Gardens

  • in the administration building for those seated in front of it

  • in the entrance to the grandstand between sections A and B

Parking

  • Gate A (main gate on Fair Street) has a dedicated parking section near the gate

  • Single car drop off area at Gate A

Friday Concert and Tattoo

  • seating also available in the designated area of the infield when you bring your own chair

Saturday - Administration Building Seating

  • special seating is allocated in front of the Administration Building

    • entrance is between the Administration Building and Grandstand A

    • chairs are provided as necessary

  • Accessible washroom is available for those seated in this area.

  • One accompanying friend/family is permitted per person

Saturday - Grandstand Seating

  • a limited number of Saturday grandstand seats in the first two rows are available to those who cannot climb the grandstands

  • these are bench seats without a back rest

  • tickets are $12.00 per person and will be available for pick-up and payment at the Secretary’s Office on Saturday of the Games. Please note this fee is in addition to admission.

So that we an adequately plan for chairs and space, we appreciate your registration in advance.

Directions

Maxville, Ontario is a short hour east of Ottawa just off Highway 417, thirty minutes north of the Canada/US border crossing at Cornwall, and a little over an hour northwest of Montreal. During the civic long weekend in August, it is said that all roads lead to Maxville.
