Please join us for the annual Nate MacRae Memorial Invitational Rugby tournament to be held at the Glengarry Highland Games. The format will be a box sevens. The preliminary round will be round-robin, held on Saturday morning, August 3, 2019, from 8:30am to 2:30pm at the former school, located just west of the grounds of the Glengarry Highland Games, at 12 Robert St. in Maxville. The championship games will be held later that day on the infield, in front of the grandstand. The divisions are U18 girls, women’s and men’s.
This event will certainly provide exciting play in this historical Scottish game! If you, or someone you know, would like to take part or is looking for more information please contact Alex de Wit at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nate MacRae was an enthusiastic young man, who lost his battle with cancer. He was a sportsman, loving the competition and companionship generated through sports. He loved his Celtic heritage and was lovingly called, “The Scotsman” by his teammates and friends.
