One of the most exciting and colourful events at the Games is the Heavyweights and the Games provide a complete slate of competitions. All divisions (Master, Open Pro., Women, and Amateur) compete in heavyweight events that are judged by the same rules and regulations. However, the number of events competed in, as well as the size of some of the implements used in these various divisions will differ.Read More

For nearly 20 years the Glengarry Highland Games Patrons Program has raised funds to maintain and improve our facilities.
Thanks to our Patrons our grounds have never looked better. Our new covered Bronze-level patio has been enjoyed by many taking in the sights and sounds of The Games. The maintenance never ends though, and our desire to keep improving for you never stops.

Registration for the 2nd Annual Up The Glens 5k Kilt Run is now open!
Once again our run will be a 5K of mainly trail route. Runners will begin and end in front of the grandstands as the crowd gathers for the closing massed bands of the 70th Glengarry Highland Games.
Runners are expected to run in a kilt. A lighter kilt will be available to buy from an on-site vendor. Also, a limited number of kilts will be available on loan for the race.
This is an officially timed race with prizes for the top three male and female participants.
