The Brigadoons have been entertaining across Canada, the United States and the Caribbean for over 25 years! People in the area have grown up with their music and their children are now doing the same. Rob Taylor is the only original member of the band now but the strong tradition of the Brigadoons with Denis (just behind Rob with over 20 years in the band), Jackie (over 19 years) Luane (3 years) and most recently Bonita (1 year) lives on.
Gerry O'Neill & McMartin FiddleThe main stay of McMartin Fiddle, a native of Derry, Gerry O'Neill came to Canada in 1974 and now claims Glengarry as his home. He once remarked that his largest audience he'd ever played for was over a billion people - as part of the opening ceremonies with seven other fiddlers of the 1976 Olympic Games. One commentator once wrote that Gerry "...puts so much feeling into his music. During sad songs you feel the fiddle is drowning in tears, during the happy songs you'd swear it was going over the edge in amusement."
Brandy 'n' Port has been Ottawa's premier Celtic band for twelve years running. Having played extensively in Eastern Ontario, they are also regular performers at many Highland Games on both sides of the Canada / U.S. border. They have a number of recordings to their credit and you will no doubt be well entertained by their high energy Celtic mix.
Bob and Ducky have been performing at the Highland Games for the past 5 years. Their love of the traditional Celtic Music lends itself to an atmosphere of easy listening with a unique blend of the old Scottish and Irish favorites. Their style have made them a very popular duo in and around the area. They have recently released a CD featuring a wonderful version of "After All These Years", the title song of the recording.
Neil Emberg & Ashley MacLeodAs the front-man for the ever-popular Celtic-Rock group Hadrian's Wall, Neil Emberg's strong vocals, tasteful guitar playing and charming stage presence can be appreciated from the front seat at a pub venue to the back of 10,000 at a festival event. Performing under his own name, Neil tours the Celtic circuit creating an energetic and dynamic atmosphere with his musical focus on the most popular traditional Scottish and Irish music of our times.
Neil will be performing on stage with Ashley MacLeod. Ashley is from Dalkeith, Ontario, and has been entertaining audiences from the early age of 10. Ashley has released two successful albums (/*From The Heart Of Glengarry - 2003)*/ and (*/Hold Fast - 2006/*). In the spring of 2003, Ashley performed with the four-time world champion Simon Fraser University Pipe Band as their fiddler on a cross-Canada tour. Ashley also performed with the Ottawa Police Services Pipe Band as part of a Canadian presence asked to entertain at Carnegie Hall in New York City for a September 11th Memorial.
Neil and Ashley have shared the stage for over five years now. Their honest and appealing sounds make both young and old go from tappin' and clappin' to jiggin' and reelin'!
Special Guest - Ewen McIntosh (Mandolin, Guitars, and Vocals) will be joining them on stage this year. Ewen (The Crofters) has also been entertaining audiences for many years. This will be one Highland Games not to miss.

Hadrian’s Wall borrows from traditional Celtic music, and creatively weaves it through their own unique blend of folk, blues, and pop/rock, to deliver a fresh and diverse palette of sound.
Since its inception in 1996, the band has been sure to maintain a close connection with their Celtic heritage. “Growing up in Glengarry meant that we heard just as much traditional music as we did modern music”, says singer and guitar player Neil Emberg. “Everyone knew and played a lot of old songs”. In fact, many of these traditional folk songs remain in their live set list, and several incarnations of them have ended up on Hadrian’s Wall recordings.
On stage this year, Hadrian's Wall will have members from the past and the present. Neil Emberg (Vocals, Guitar), Richard Irwin (Vocals, Drums), Terry O'Farrell (Vocals, Bass), Nelson MacPherson (Vocals, Accordion), Ashley MacLeod (Fiddle), Dave Gossage (Irish Flutes, Whistles, Harmonica, Electric Guitar), and other special guests.
Hadrian's Wall have recently released a Collection Album - 20 songs and instrumentals from the early years of the band. For more information, please check out: WWW.HADRIANSWALL.NET
The The MacCulloch School of Dancing was founded in 1955, under the direction of Rae MacCulloch.
Her first classes began with seven students in the kitchen of her sister Sybil Cameron's Glen Roy home. Together Rae, her husband, Alex and her sister, Sybil, laid the foundation for what was to become one of Glengarry's success stories.
Today, Rae and her daughters, Heather Forbes and Deborah Wheeler, direct over 500 students in Martintown, Maxville and Navan.
In 1972, the MacCulloch Dancers took their first major trip when they toured Scotland with the Glengarry Pipe Band. Appearances on CFCF-TV in Montreal, CJOH in Ottawa, CBC in Halifax and the John Allan Cameron show followed.
On New Years Day of 1976, Glengarry dancers joined the Rose Bowl Parade in the streets of Pasadena, California. This tour also included performances in Disneyland, California and USA bicentennial celebrations in San Francisco. In October, bicentennial celebrations continued in Philadelphia and Washington.
Over the next 21 years the MacCulloch dancers have performed across the world. Recently they have represented Canada in Disney World, Florida, Idaho and Utah, USA, Puerto Rico and the Republic of China, Spain, Mexico, Belgium and Bulgaria. Other highlights include performances with the NAC orchestra in 2000 and the Nokia Brier in 2001.
The MacCulloch Dancers celebrate Glengarry's rich history through lively presentations of Scottish Folkloric and Canadian Step Dancing. Once again, on Friday, August 3, 2007, they will bring their Scottish traditions back to Glengarry soil, as they perform 200 strong, in this year's Tattoo.
